@Gina I feel the dev world does not really care that much for DEI, let alone Belonging. At least in the past decades, I've seen it elevate its most debatable figures and their worst traits to godlike attributes. Weizenbaum spoke of the compulsive programmer, and Musk is all about his guys (it's always guys) needing to be "hardcore", I call them algojerks. I think there's a thread between gender inequality, disregard of diversity and turning an engineering discipline into "hacking" wasteland.
