sleeper🔻somebody@circumstances.runOct 21, 2026, 12:25 AM@hipsterelectron 108 imperial gallons (130 US gallons/491 liters), so yes, you need lever, ramp, and wheel technology or lots of servants to do it. interestingly, it comes from the use of "butt" as a technical term in the art of barrel making (the one who practices this art is a "cooper"). a "buttload" is a load of primarily aqueous liquid (approximately the density of water) that is one butt in size. the butt was a standard reference object that was one half a tun, and these reference objects still exist and are used in barrel and cask making to this day.
