    🇨🇦 🇬🇧 The doodoo has hit the fan: riot police and 'protesters' are fighting right in front of our building. Love of my life just got in, very distraught. My son is not too far away, but I have had to tell him to stay as far away from the neighbourhood as possible. Lots of smoke and tear gas.

    Always very fun when you hear the 'BANG' of a tear gas grenade going off out there in the street.

    Thank Cthulhu, we have an apprtment on an inner courtyard and not on the street. My poor neightbors must be gagging right now, given the smell we get even in our little peaceful place, far from the action...

    Love of my life is under the shower, to try and scrub the worst of the tear gas.
