@luca Single-use software is one of the reasons I will only rip so heavily on Python (admittedly in terms of my own comfort, pattern matching added a lot)

The days of bashing things together with awk and sed are gone even if you know what's good about those tools, and there's a lot of convenience features for <KLoC programs that don't make sense to dedicate the syntax to in other languages!
