@luca Once Upon A Time we had a concept of "temporary" software, which didn't have to be built according to our normal engineering standards / quality rules.

Typically this would be a tool for a one-off data conversion, something like that. It had a lifetime of 24 or 48 hours, forget which, after which anybody could delete it / throw the paper tape away / whatever.
