Oct 17, 2026, 2:46 AM@timtfj @bnuuy @futurebird yep! crts were really expensive, and these things already cost a pretty penny, so anything destined for wide adoption was meant to plug into the crt you already owned (the tv).

@bjc @bnuuy @futurebird Exactly! I nearly put it that way myself. The first ones I remember (but I didn't have a computer until later) were the ZX80 and ZX Spectrum.
