@Edent The way battery fullness is measured on cheap devices like this is essentially sampling the voltage and looking it up in a table, presupposing a certain decay curve, but the mapping isn't invariant to temperature. Cold will push down the voltage. It may also affect the amount of life you get out of a battery but the method of measurement, which wasn't great to begin with, is useless in this scenario.
