Many of them, he said, fear being caught up in an anti-LLM witch hunt. He suggested adding a requirement that models read all of the kernel's documentation into an AGENTS.md file. Torvalds thought many submitters were simply ashamed to admit that they were using those tools. Gleixner suggested, not entirely seriously, adding a Not-assisted-by tag instead; Arnd Bergmann said he would find that a useful indicator of developers he should put time into helping.'
