They were worse in the year 2000, I shudder to think what they were like in the year 1965.

This isn't brewed hot and then poured over ice, it's brewed hot and then let sit until it's room temperature and THEN poured over ice

@coriander I'll admit I couldn't find actual saccharine tablets.
Turns out saccharine tabs came in different sizes anyway, and the recipe doesn't specify.
But Sweet & Low has a lot of saccharine in it, so I decided that one packet of S&L counted as one saccharine tab. (That would be about right if he was using 0.5gr tablets.)
I think I guessed right. The sweetness was about right. That wasn't one of the problems.

@Taweret @coriander Using good coffee would not be in the spirit of the thing.
This recipe is very much about Price intentionally giving his guests terrible coffee.
