  In further #CrossBorderRail news, PKP Intercity was granted permission to launch an open access connection between Warsaw and Kyiv in addition to the existing Kyiv Express from the next timetable year.   In worse news, the railway industry appears to have lost confidence that reforms meant to give rail investment an almost equal share with road (!) in the state budget will make it into next year's. They apparently even staged a small protest or something in front of the Prime Minister's Chancery a couple weeks ago, to no apparent avail.
