We went on the tour of the Brightwater (water) treatment plant in #KingCounty #Seattle. We live in a beautiful place that many people are working hard to keep it that way and make better.

Picture of a very tree filled hillside and lots of the above ground buildings part of the Brightwater waster water processing facility.

The influent screen building. A smelly room that traps stuff you should NOT put down your toilet or sinks. Wipes and oil/grease are particularly a problem. Note: Brightwater is cool for water treatment plants because they trap the gases to process them and keep smells down. You couldn't smell anything really except inside the buildings!
