My friends and I are co-curating an exhibition called Un dossier de plus pour nos archives (Another file for our archives) that will take place during the Contemporary Art Biennale in Lyon (France) this fall.
With this exhibition, we want to highlight the time-consuming yet invisible labor of art practionners, and challenge institutions on what they expect/demand from those involved in the cultural sector. To do so we are collecting rejected proposals from a wide range of professionals—actors, architects, craftpeople, writers, ceramists, comedians, curators, dancers, designers, illustrators, directors, musicians, painters, performers, photographers, producers, sculptors, etc.—as well as rejection emails received from various institutions.
