    @leanderlindahl I agree. However, I also read something similar about the "funk" format (a special program designated to people "between 14 and 29" by the public, German broadcaster ARD and ZDF) in their website's FAQs:

    About the question why funk also publishes on YouTube (without ads), it claims it must also publish where the target audience is.

    Is this parallel correct? :ablobcatsweatsiphard:

    @raisondetredev @leanderlindahl

    Is it still only that? Or do they produce masses of content solely for YouTube nowadays? I'm not 100% sure but haven't seen these things on TV a lot. Maybe a single promo clip embedded in some other show, and sometimes Sebastian Lege, but that's it?! But, yeah, I'm not sure...

    (I'm talking about ARD/ZDF in general, I don't know much about Funk in particular)

    @pink @funk @raisondetredev @leanderlindahl ... of course not without *again* advertising some US companies right in their profile text. It's soo ubiquitous that nobody even realizes anymore how wrong and bad that is. I would expect from them to be not at all present in those commercial walled gardens. I know, for 99% it feels like an insane idea nowadays. The fact that they are *today* *also* here is not making things much better imho.
