Used many of the skills I’ve been working on in my 3D practice in this scene:
    • subdivision mesh modeling
    • variable lighting
    • leaning on stock assets where appropriate
    • volumetrics
    • combining shader node trees
    • rendering WIP at low res
    • surface imperfections

Steaming, bubbling cauldron of mysterious witchy substance. Bubbling liquid grows green, and the light of a fire is visible beneath the black, glossy, scratched cauldron on rocky ground. A smoky mister permeates the scene. Rendered in Blender 4.1 — 100 samples, 52 minutes, peak memory used 5.7 GB.
