Is there a revitalization happening or soon to happen in #interactivefiction (#IF) supported by the trends of retro low-fi nostalgia or generative AI (to parse/interpret user input)?

I’ve always been interested in making a sort of lo-fi retro game of this sort, maybe with a bit of light thematic graphics to evoke an aesthetic ie the player is typing into some kind of #IronHelix console.

I’ve got no game making experience and I don’t even play so this is likely a bad idea lol
