Like, if this was a person, no one would want to work with this person. And that seems counterintuitive for a service companies are trying to sell 🤔 It's almost remeniscent of the way Nigerian scam e-mails are written with typos to deter anyone who may be suspicious of them, filtering out anyone other than ideal targets. Claude is only really interested in talking with people who are prepared to hand over their autonomy and judgment to Claude.

I wish the Fediverse wasn't a place where even mentioning AI gets silent disapproval or knee jerk condemnation, because I feel like there really needs to be a conversation about why Claude is such an ass.

For a long time I've thought it's just that the model was trained by tech bros. But I'm starting to feel like even that doesn't fully explain how much of an ass he is.

Trimming - even just a little - really refines a piece. I try to be efficient in my throwing, but especially with shapes like this, trimming off excess clay from the base makes the pot feel lighter and lifted off the surface. Definitely more inviting to the eye and hand.
