Goodmorning
I wish you meet a lot of love and kindness on your way.

it was impressive. I have a stack of tupperwares with foods i keep within reach, the crackerbox on top. She pushed really hard into the stack so it toppled over and the crackers fell on top of the robot. And while I was sitting right next to it, by the time i bended over to grab my crackers she was already outside of my reach. Now my crackers are on the other side of the room under a chair.
Nicole (vacuumrobot) just grabbed my box of crackers and ran away with them.
As my existance is getting smaller,
days are getting shorter, no, longer
days filled with nothing
Me, a witness, not an actor
slowely erased from the script
my words, my thoughts, my love
you slowely lose access
I'm slowely fading into
But look! Just look
I'm still here, filling up the stage
But my new role more limited
silence is my main language
but all of me still here, still loving
still wishing goodness into the world
And while less able to express
here I am, my thoughts, my all
my love for you, as long as I live
(written in august 2025)
goodmorning,
i wish you have good dreams
the current plan of action is: fill the kettle with water, turn it on, lay down. Later rise again and do the other half of tea-making.
newspodcast about AI.
journalist: but I need to interview someone tomorrow about a 200 page report. And if I would read that whole thing my boss would be angry and tell me I could just ask chatGPT for a summary.
Ri: okay wow. I suddenly realise howcome the quality of the journalists' questions and understanding have declined so rapidly on this news podcast.
chronic illness is so surreal to some people that you can be accused of trolling when just asking for your perspective to be included in the 'everyone should'.

It was the my job
to make sure you're not getting down.
But when you accidentally dropped me,
nobody was able to do the same for me.
Also, if you already paid for your grocery delivery online, which is now cancelled, you will probably get your money back eventually, but not while this hack is ongoing. There's many many people who don't have enough to pay for their weekly groceries twice. Don't think poor people are too poor to order groceries online, because, even if it costs more, it can be their only option.
tired of the news articles about the biggest supermarket being offline due to a cyberhack all focusing on chaos and wrong information in shops.
They hardly bother to mention that there's no delivery at all. And when they mention it, they leave it at that. I can see journalists and readers shrugging it off since then you can just go to the store?
I think I'm the only one who remembers that when AH started grocery delivery a decade or so ago, they marketed it as a service for disabled and old people.
And that before then, homecare would also do groceries for their clients, and that's now no longer part of any disability help.
Grocery delivery is important to a lot of people, not just disabled people. But some of the disabled people have no alternative but home delivery.
And in my experience, whenever AH needs to cancel a delivery for traffic or snow or strikes, it will be many many days before you can reschedule because things will be booked full for a bit.
If the news would bother to mention this too, together with all the other news about this supermarket hack, disabled people would feel less alone and it would probably be easier to find help with groceries this week if we need to.
(my own weekly groceries arrive on thursday, so right now i don't need help, just the hope that it will be solved by then.)
Too much lives in a moment

A Missoula treehouse filled with candlelight:
143 goosebumps.
The octopus documentary:
54 goosebumps, multiplied by 8.
The biggest dog in the shelter
hiding behind a teacup chihuahua,
and the woman who came to adopt a cat
taking all three of them home:
1012 goosebumps.
There is no escaping the magic now.
Beauty caught me and never let me go.
And the thing about the world record
is—if someone breaks it after me,
and they will break it after me,
I love that so much
that without even trying,
I'll break it again.
I wonder if the people from my past who look me up online find out that I'm now a goat.
One night in Ann Arbor, my friend,
still undiagnosed, could not uncurl her fingers
to strum her guitar, so she sang the chords instead.
It was the first time in my life I'd seen pain
become an instrument:
10 dozen goosebumps
for each and every note plucked
from the string section of her refusal to silence
her dream. After that, nothing in the world was gray.
Even the movie of my past was released in color.
The oldest man in my hometown could not
get to the door to listen to our carols,
so we went inside and sang at his bedside instead.
Twenty-four boots on the front step
catching snowflakes with their tongues:
776 goosebumps.

a mutual is posting about postcard clubs, so i'd like to mention 'chronic market place', a project for people with severe ME/CFS to receive a card in the mail once in a while. I got 3 cards through them for my birthday this year.
