the (new to me) knowledge that this vulnerability was known already actually make the hype cycle a little concerning to me (for the part of the tech journalists, i mean)
I tend to engage that this question "is this software more{of less} secure?" with a more grounded statement — that depends on the software, if the software is largely vibe vomited it is less secure because the devs have no 'institutional knowledge' of the code, so it will take way way longer to fix it [if they try to fix manually], if they fix with llm it might make things pile up vulns on top of vulns that no one in the project will know how to fix it. the main problem is not the amount of exploits, but the inability to fix it (because skill decay for extended usage of llms are a thing, and also executive function decay [like brain processing and interpersonal awareness, the latter is a thing devs already struggle a lot without llm already]) —

I'm... what??? is this guy leaning rhetoric with gemini?

even if I was really high I would not understand his logic here... so the people who are using genai to make love letters to the people they supposedly love are using it because loving someone is too much of a hassle to bother and that's a good thing?

also fuck you, the subset of people who use genai for programming is such a small sample inside the total use of this shit that focusing on this small sample is such a fucking moot point.

also also what you on about? you saying that being anti vibe coding is ableism? you saying that the big rich youtubers that are poisoning the mind of beginners are actually the good guys looking for the small people while filling their pockets with dark money?

oh fuck you, like for real

reminder that:
passoca did not grow up with tech knowledge and internet.
passoca grew up poor in south America
passoca was not tech savvy until mid20s (like I was almost 24 yo when I started having access to tech knowledge, I knew some vague stuff about how hdd worked... and some really rudimentary knowledge about cables... but that's it... and i knew big processor number = processor more good)

until life made me chose tech i wanted to be a musician, or a illustrator, or a designer or a jornalist...

meow.... why did you open a new tab? close it now

.-. it is so weird how christian narrative is controlled by the local church leader... like the community don't read the bible and even when they do, if they don't understand something, they don't look for information, they just ask the local religious leader. like I get it when you're a person that has no time to study and such...
but when you're a person with history degree... is weird... cuz even if you didn't pay attention to the whole course, you should have at least pick on the fact that local leaders always diverged from the main organization (be it on Catholicism or Protestantism... or orthodox church, etc etc)... why would you believe your local pastor/father is actually aligned with the so-called true message?

i should have long ago started a folder of bookmarks to hand out links here when people get up on a high horse about european racial innocence (including british), but i did not

here are two that would be in it. spoiler: nothing people pin on the US is "uniquely" american & it is folly to compartmentalize the US and western europe in this regard

for all my impatience with religion... and a lot of mystical thought. I never dismiss their belief, I don't think it is fair.
most atheist youtubers talk about religious people in a maner that implies they think they are dumb, or credulous or any sort of maners... normally those youtubes are white...
and I think, you think like that about them, you now who thought about religious people from other cultures like that and praised scientific knowledge without questioning it's implications? yes they themselves, the eugenicists... so would you support eugenic "science" back in the day because it was freeing "savages" from lower quality thoughts?
I think we need to walk a rigorous thread when dealing with belief, cuz like.. even if you are a scientist, anything outside of your field of expertise is not exactly rooted on critical thinking and scientific rigorous, you are believing in the peer-review method

I should actually buy an empty plot and build my own house, how hard can it be? (famous last words)

pansexual is not about pans... you're wrong.

it's about wanting to fuck sports, it was invented when someone tried to fuck the pan american games.
and that's how the legend started
