Haha wow

Exactly how much of the cinema of the 1970s was just "I'm Catholic and it gave me trauma"

Maybe this is a too simplistic notion of bankruptcy. Maybe everyone chapter 11s at the same time and nobody loses money except teachers union pensions. Every teachers union member in the nation goes to debtors prison and there is no other effect.

Consider a hypothetical

1. AI investments crash all at once https://www.openmarketsinstitute.org/publications/report-brace-for-impact-protecting-people-and-the-economy-when-the-ai-bubble-burst
2. Every tech company goes bankrupt because they financed those investments with untenable debt
3. No one has enough money to buy the assets of the bankrupt companies
4. It is 2027 or 2028 and Donald Trump is President
5. He cuts a "deal" where the government owns 60% of every tech company and the other 40% is owned by a family member of his

Do the Democrats (who control Congress) stop step 5?

@mcc @program Extremely primitive and probably long completely broken, but a long time ago, I did a strong/incremental typing implementation in Perl:

NEW: Several of the DCCC's top bundlers are now working as Flock lobbyists, as some Democrats move to ban federal use of the company's license plate cameras.

The DCCC did not respond to questions from Sludge about whether it was concerned that some of its largest bundlers are lobbying for Flock.

Look. The argument is very simple, I'll explain.

1. Consciousness is mysterious; neuroscientists don't quite understand how it works
2. LLMs are mysterious; LLM vendors don't quite understand how they work
3. Therefore, LLMs are consciousness.

In logic we call this an "extremely correct syllogism"
