Tak for svar! Flere nævner William Dam, så der har jeg nu købt en julegave til min datter (shhh!). Det føltes meget ligesom "de store" så baseret på købsoplevelsen er anbefalingen hermed givet videre
No one should own a billion of anything.
LFG, babes! 🥳

Edit: Tilføjet manglende “mod” efter “forbud”.
Putin and the Russian •regime• are evil.
•Russians• are millions of individual people who span the whole range from evil to heroic to apathetic. Many Russians are also suffering and dying because of the evils of the Russian regime.
It is important to be clear about this distinction.
Loving a culture, a people, etc. But the regime in charge has lost its mind.
SAFE FROM WEALTH
Åh nej da... Bjørn Lomborg og B.T. raser over CONCITO og vores argumenter for sund og planterig kost til ældre. Og undervurderer seriøst det globale klimaaftryk fra danskernes fødevareforbrug 🫣 #dkgreen
Two bridges in Denmark.
One from 1887, now mainly for cyclists.
One from 1998, where cyclists aren’t allowed.
Which one moves most people?
"There was the incident where illegal Israeli settlers in the West Bank — who are financed, armed, enabled, and otherwise supported in every possible way by the Israeli government — viciously attacked a Washington Post photojournalist, breaking her ribs and fracturing her vertebrae, and a day later attacked a group of European diplomats from Belgium, France, and Poland (countries that, unlike Israel, actually are US treaty allies).
The reaction was, well, muted. The Israeli government at first tried to cast doubt on the reports, accuse Palestinians of being the culprits, and even blame the diplomats. The US secretary of state said it was “not a good look.” The German government called it “troubling” and said it should “be criticized,” while the European Union called vaguely for “full accountability.” The Israeli government did arrest ten suspects and has now released nine of them from custody and into house arrest.
Given that merely bringing charges against a group of Israeli soldiers who gang-raped a Palestinian prisoner led to Israeli rioting, which then led to those charges being dropped and one of the rapists becoming a quasi-celebrity in the country, don’t hold your breath waiting for this accountability."

Unfortunately, the data center's location isn't enough to keep you in control of the IT you paid for.

I read the headline as “there are signs of serious *people* in the data center industry”, which got me genuinely curious! Turns out there aren’t…
Futurism: “There Are Signs of Serious Trouble in the Data Center Industry”
https://futurism.com/artificial-intelligence/signs-trouble-data-center-industry
The title of this article is extremely misleading
"A First Nation community in Canada is using a data center to preserve its heritage"
What the author refers to as a "data center" is
- "[a]bout the size of a single-car garage"
- in the hands of the Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory
- not owned by a big tech company
- NOT used for LLM training.
That's not a data center. It's a server room.

"You talk so much about my president, President Trump, being a humanitarian. You are a humanitarian also, sir, and I salute that, I commend you, and I thank you again," Witkoff told Putin.
It feels like watching some absurd alternate reality unfold. Except this is real.
Have you abandoned Microsoft products since the International Criminal Court was locked out while prosecuting war criminals in America?
Have you abandoned Apple.since they gave millions to a Trump slush fund?
Have you left Facebook since they blocked #NoKings and meddled for Bolsonaro in Brazil's election?
A US President once said "we do these things BECAUSE they are hard."
Isn't it time we did the hard thing that starves these corporations working against our interests?
Here’s the thing. It looks like a political cartoon, but it’s real. The slices of the pizza are exactly mathematically proportional to reality. We are being screwed every single day by rich oligarchs. And we know it. It’s time to fundamentally change the power structure in our economy. Nothing will change if we continue to allow money to be the ultimate goal and arbiter of power.
Last night Russia hit energy facilities, infrastructure, a medical clinic, a school, a metro station, and ordinary residential buildings in Kyiv.
Ukraine got no warning from the US about incoming missiles, because Trump is blocking the intel sharing with Ukraine. So once again, the air raid sirens could not get civilians into the bomb shelters in time.
Washington is lost. Europe must replace American satellite intelligence.
So, today I was informed that my current employment is terminated. This implies that I will be looking for a new job. I know it might be a stretch, but I thought why not give #GetFediHired a try. Due to many circumstances, it has to be a full-time position in #Denmark. 🇩🇰
I can bring my senior expertise in IT security and vulnerability research. We can, of course, discuss related roles as well. You can find my profile at: https://www.linkedin.com/in/infosecdj/
I can also market my decapping and deprocessing skills, but I fear the market depth for that is in single digits. :-) But if someone has interest, please feel free to have a look at http://infosecdj.net/ for what I was able to do in my home lab!
Of course, any and all boosts will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
