Psychology says the rarest mental strength today isn't resilience or grit - it's the ability to sit with uncertainty without immediately seeking distraction, explanation, or someone else's opinion about what you should feel

I am not the 'personal life' sharing person, but this is what my 25 years of married life looks like.

Such a great interview and proud to have been part of this. Kudos to @pluralistic and host Rory MacDonald.
@ftrain also, visiting Brooklyn in spring next year. Looking forward to that.
Great quote from the article: “… there is nothing natural about urban elites overconsuming and overexploiting water resources and the water marginalization of other social groups.”

Intriguingly, it is not merely that the wealthiest are causing global warming — they are also engaged in behaviors that are hurting the world's poor more than climate change is. Particularly regarding access to safe drinking water, overly extractive and selfish behaviors often outpace the damage global heating is inflicting on the world's poorest.
Bright, cold early Sunday morning at the train station leaving for Berlin #fossback #fossbackstage I just love the quiet. Also, so looking forward to his event.
The folks at Fosstodon are doing an awesome job. With 60,000 people on this server costs are at €2000/month already. If we all support financially things will run smoothly.
