I swear every third image I see of Fuckerberg is him in court, and I wonder why images of Ol' Musky in court aren't as common. Does Musk just not get sued as much as Meta, or does he just never bother attending courts?
I legitimately wonder how much coke the US government currently snorts in the average day. Or is that too old school? Are they all just on prescriptions nowadays?
As Macklemore gets some recognition for standing his ground and living his truth, I'm reminded of the artists who just don't show stellar morals.
I'm still pretty pissed Dave Grohl denied AIDS existed, and have yet to see anything stating he's changed his tune on that publicly. Has he? Did I miss it? Or is he a complete shitstick?
Like a rock, gravel, then dust, be ever reaching and ever lasting. Be eternally grit in the gears of destructive futures.
My corporate harassment of the bus company has paid off. Our capital city finally has a Sunday bus for me.
Now to ride it so frequently that they can't try to take it away for low ridership.
Does anyone even still have a landline phone?
I keep frowning at the cake mixes because I'm waiting for an old fascist fool to die so I can make cake.
I'm still quite confused why people feel a need to gender every conversation with strangers. There was 0 reason to call me "little lady," I don't even know you, go back to watching your AI Facebook videos loudly...
I'm too lazy to scroll, so apologies if this is a repost but here is my cat tax for #caturday
So all day I was out and wished everyone sunshine on the way home. Some laughed at me, others said it was unlikely but thanks. Birds sing, sunshine is peaking through clouds. Mwahaha, probably just luck, but also confirmation bias.
Summer has arrived with a blistering high of 15 Celsius. Woooo
Sometimes I scroll on Caturday and get jealous of all your beautiful cats.
I cannot be the only person who finds clipping your nails on the bus kinda gross.
Making the bed will have to wait until tomorrow, I guess. Thanks, Boo (cat)
My life would be better if I didn't have to pass the tv to get to the coffee. Watching CNN uncritically talk about how airport lines are small and manageable as they shoot on location, and the ICE agents are just wandering the halls talking to folks, and here's that surveillance footage of the accident at LaGuardia with boxes around the plane and firetruck with each labelled in case you can't tell which is the massive plane and which is the firetruck...
Man, of course the lines are smaller today. If I was booked to fly from the US right now, I would have cancelled the ticket too.
Oh thank cats, I think I might actually be tired enough to sleep now.
I don't blame my neurodivergence, but the insomnia is definitely sus.
Quick everyone, while the internet is broken: have some water, take your meds, catch a quick nap. Fill the emptiness with self-care.
Those who collect books and run libraries will forever be my heroes.
