So I just got the pro version of suno and am loving the hell out of it. I write my own lyrics, 100% written by me, not using AI to generate anything other than to help me find a word that rhymes with another, and things like that.
This song is very dark, hence the trigger warning, and the lyrics were written by me last year around this time, as October is always a shitty time for me, unfortunately. I thought I'd share the V6 version of this song, since the only one I had previous was the v3.5 version, which pretty much sucked. Remixing it to V6 though, it really turned it into something amazing, that is, if you like really dark lyrics with heavy metal instrumentation. The song is called Demonic Wings. I hope you enjoy.

she was eating lunch at a meet and 3 and that's where she met me. She wrote her name on a napkin with her address and telephone. She had an ass that would not wait. I had the all-you-can-eat meatloaf plate. I wiped my mouth on that napkin. Oh, what a mistake, because now her numbers are gone. I should've found something else to wipe it on. Now her name is Jane Ketchup Stain. She lives on Mayonnaise Road. Her number is Hines 57 4 something with a colslaw area code. I don't know who she is or where she lives or what number to dial. But if I see her around town I'll rewrite it all down on a god damned paper towel. And her name was Jane Ketchup Stain.

Spotify, it's not me, it's you. You kept deleting my music, losing my queue, and acting like playing a song offline was a NASA-level engineering challenge. I gave you years of my life, premium money, and more second chances than a toxic ex with a Spotify Wrapped addiction. But I've found someone who actually plays what I ask her to play, remembers my music, and doesn't need Wi-Fi to remember who I am. Her name is Apple Music, and she plays lossless. We're getting married. You're not invited. Don't text me, don't playlist me, and for the love of God, don't recommend me some AI-generated bullshit about healing my inner child. We're DONE. 💀

@sparksexist Three questions regarding your game, Convenience Express.
1. Is there a way to make time go slightly faster? I thought I saw something in one of the json files, but not too sure, and I'm a little nervous about mucking about with them.
2. Is it possible to make a learn sounds option in the menu? There are a few sounds I don't know what they mean, like the chimey sound, I think that might mean the customer was satisfied with their purchase? but not sure.
3. Is it possible to know you have a shoplifter in your store *before* they take shit? I can't figure out how that works, and I've had several people stealing from me and I never know beforehand whether that person's a thief or not.

The Pentagon has confirmed it will livestream the execution by firing squad of former US army major Nidal Hasan, who shot dead 13 unarmed soldiers at the Fort Hood military base in Texas in 2009. The execution is scheduled for 3 December; if it is carried out, Nidal will be the first person to be publicly executed in the US since 1936 and the first soldier to be put to death by firing squad since World War Two.

ok, so since people in several places have spoken out about AgNow having too much lag for them, I've decided to distribute the game publically. download from this link:

@sparksexist Yo! Thanks for letting me play this game. I've always wanted a real business simulator.

This is because they know they're getting their asses kicked this November.

Hello all,
my new audio game, convenience express: convenience store simulator, is entering a public beta testing phase. this is an AgNow exclusive title during the testing phase, because it's the most convenient way to get testing reports, and helps promote ag now, so a win win.
this is a convenience store simulation game, with lots of twists and chaos as well. run your very own corner store, keep the books balanced, keep the store stocked with its over 2500 products, scan people's ID for cigarrette and alcohol sales, survive inspections, prevent drunks from knocking down whole shelves, fight off thieves with a fly swatter or let police handle them, or just chill in the main menu and watch a demo store play out without player input. it's up to you.
download AgNow from agnow.brynify.me, create account, and play convenience express (agnow exclusive alpha) from the games library. please make liberal use of ctrl+shift+r in the game to report any issues, and most importantly have fun!
please boost for reach!

sadly, all my hglasses are on v129 because this update came long after the update was released. from @AiraVI sent via e-mail comes the following.
Hi Explorers,
We want to let you know about a serious issue affecting Aira calls on Meta glasses.
If your glasses are on firmware version 129, you won't be able to use them to make Aira calls on either iOS or Android. We're very sorry for the trouble this is causing. We're working closely with Meta to fix this as quickly as possible, and we'll let you know as soon as a fix has been released.
What we recommend
To avoid being updated to version 129, please turn off automatic updates for your glasses in the Meta AI app. Here's how:
1. Open the Meta AI app.
2. Activate the Settings button.
3. Activate the settings for your glasses. If you have more than one pair, you'll need to do this for each pair separately.
4. Activate the Update button.
5. Turn off the Automatic update toggle switch.

Once automatic updates are off, if you're asked to update your glasses, you can ignore the prompt.
Going forward, we'll test each new Meta firmware update to make sure it works safely with Aira. When an update is safe to install, we'll let you know.
If you're already on version 129, unfortunately, it isn't possible to go back to an earlier version. We'll provide a community update as soon as a fix is available .
We appreciate everyone's patience. This technology is new and moving fast, and upgrades and fixes can sometimes break what was working. Our team is doing everything we can to keep the integration experience both functional and smooth.

The U.S. federal government is backing away from a decades-old disability rights promise, @19thnews reports.

"Lois Curtis and Elaine Wilson won a victory that gave people with disabilities the freedom to choose where they live. That legacy is now under threat."

These days, instead of screaming into the void, I just sit down beside it, and say "I know, Void, I know". Even voids need to be comforted occasionally, everybody screams at them and nobody's giving back.

Do you know what really grinds my gears? When somebody responds to a perfectly valid accessibility issue with, “Do you have any family member or friend that can help you?”
Why is that any of your business? And for the record, no, I don’t have someone here, so actually help me with a solution.
In this case I’ve tried to educate rather than just get angry, but honestly, it’s exhausting.

the automatic subtitles on YouTube are not properly accessible. swear words being blanked out is not neutral accessibility for Deaf people like me. if the person in the video is swearing, we need to have that information conveyed to us, not [_____]. we are Deaf, not children. but no one wants to talk about this.

There are many amazing developers. there are many amazing blind developers. And thanks to #AI, even more blind developers can make their ideas a living product, and those who coded before AI, now can do it more quickly. Quinn, Aaron, Brian, Andre, Bryn, Allison, Jeff, Taylor and many many others (I don't tag you all so the thread doesn't become a huge mess). That post was inspired by last boost, Aaron's accessible Android emulator. Thank you for your work, thank you for existing and making this world a brighter and more accessible place to live. That's it, that's the post. #Accessibility #Gratitude

Okay, so you've been on the fence about learning Python? Nevermind AI for a moment. What if you could just download an NVDA addon and follow sequential lessons, use an accessible IDE to try out your code and just feel like a programming ninja? Well, now you can. Visit your closest NVDA addon store and search for: Learning Python with NVDA. This addon is da bomb! You really need to try this out if you've been wondering if programming was for you.
