Brazil just bought dozens of Gripen interceptor jet fighters. The Gripen continues to be the most overhyped and least proven jet fighter... couldn't even intercept a argentinian-russian owned piece of shit private jet. >=D
TLDR
Buying a Gripen is a guarantee that you won't get involved in a conflict, because 1- nobody cares about you, demonstrated by the fact you can only afford that PoS 2- you wouldn't be able to FIGHT anything off in a Gripen, so there wouldn't BE a conflict, proper.
FTR, I mock the Gripen because it is the right thing to do with something so wildly overhyped and so poorly (zero) proven.
I look forward to be proven wrong, by any actual combat capability demonstrated by the Gripens which WILL eventually fly for Ukraine.
