An open torment nexus. Given enough eyeballs, all issues with torments are shallow.

Lately I've taken to adding a few spices or veggies or other ingredients to store-bought pasta sauces, so I can pretend I'm cooking.

Today I was going to add a dash of cinnamon, but I slipped up ...

Anyway. Marinara with garlic, red chili flakes, paprika, a touch of basil, and two tablespoons (probably less, in reality, but a lot) of cinnamon.

It was fairly tasty.

Next time I might try to briefly heat it up with butter and sugar before adding it, to make cinnamon toast spaghetti sauce.

Apparently the skunks have rabies now. Don't get too close.

I don't need farm-fresh outrage, nor even mass-produced outrage. I have perfectly sufficient outrage stockpiles at home.

Last year we had a bad keel & had to replace the co-op boat. This year, the rudder on the replacement (50-year-old) boat is full of water & isn't safe. ⛵️💸

Hey, so, anyone know a cheap place to get a Catalina 27 rudder in the pacific NW? Or a fast and cheap place to get it rebuilt (or built from scratch, if that's a thing)?

Blackline can rebuild it, but it'll take a month.

It used to be the case that there were two key indicators of a pending precipitous decline in a software project's quality:

1. The company IPOs
2. The company is acquired

But now we can add two more to the list:

3. The company doubles down on AI for some reason

4. The company starts funding nazis

Though, in all fairness, 1-3 are strong directional indicators for 4 being next on the docket. Especially 3.
