It won't get far, nature abhors a vacuum.

Good news! The weekend has started early.

Object storage migrated to bunny.net and is being served by their CDN (as it was previously, but that was just caching local storage).

If fedizens spot that media from avatastic.uk has broken after today (2026-05-28) do let me know!

(first post-migration media upload post is at https://avatastic.uk/@avatastic/116653510394727296)

I miss having stompy boots...

I should rectify that.

Fewer than 28 days later...
Bunny have opened up their S3 beta. I'm not sure what the selection / approval criteria was, but I'm on it (after applying), and I'll be moving my instance's media over to it at the weekend..

I'm considering streaming a Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 play through on Thursdays from 8pm to 11pm (GMT) starting next week.

You can maybe find me over on https://cast.avatastic.co.uk/ for this.

Why have I been listening to the KLF all afternoon, when I could have been listening to KYBERNETIK by @revengeday?

If you don't fuck around, you'll never find out.

@welshpixie I trust you've seen this? https://wandering.shop/@rosemarymosco/111348760097537949

@welshpixie psst. you bio describes your profile pic as having blue hair, when it looks green to me.

I'm not aware of having b/g colour blindness but thought you'd want to know in case it needs updating.

Will AI put SysOps out of work?
No, of course not.

At some point the SysOpsAI will hose the DNS server and then it's game over for it.
