Once again, 1200 billionaires in a wood chipper would go a long way to stopping global warming.

We have 12 months to cut 18% of global emissions to step back from extinction.

Will we do it? No. There is zero inclination that right now anyone in any western country is making any attempt at achieving this.

Conditions are right for Europe to have its own rendition of the Arab spring. We will see what becomes of this, maybe there really will be change.

Italy, France and Spain protesting the cost of living, the state of public services and the failure of governments to invest in education and infrastructure. You won't see Britain doing this, not because the conditions are any better, but the political apathy of brits is without comparison.

We would rather keep our heads down and be quiet, with the exception of a few.

It's like we've adopted the bushido practice that Japan has of 'don't make a fuss, the nail that sticks out gets hammered'.

The canary news site is dead. You couldn't get a more on-the-nose analogy of the state of political freedoms in the UK.

Has Tim Burton ever made a good film?

No.

Ever wanted the experience of what it feels like to have the sun shine out your bum?

Simply eat 4 - 5 ghost peppers. Surely you will will not regret eating 4 - 5 ghost peppers.

Can anyone recommend me a #sticker #printer that prints photo quality vinyl stickers. Cutter or non cutter fine. Colour preferably, but not one that will cost me a fortune in ink (looking at you HP).

Once you have a handle on the size of the problem you need to know how you are going to communicate with your fellow wasteland raiders, how you plan on ceasing any resistance and how you're going to move the things you take back to your community. These are much smaller problems.

These people are already planning for the end, the trope of the rich person bunker is well known. Beat them to the punch, it's not like the police will be a thing in the event of a long famine.

If you want to know how to raid a place, you make friends, or you do a lot of research now. Proper planning prevents piss poor performance. Look at their home now, the number of entrances/exits, where it's easy to get in and where there is extra security. Make a note of number of vehicles at different times of day and days of the week. Learn about what tools you would need to gain access.

If you want to survive a big collapse eat the big fish first.
