Hey friends,

I'm kinda stuck; can I raise $150 for Wife's pain management?

Migraine today. All is bad.

Did you know, blueberry bushes turn red when the levaes change?

Where did all the catnip go?

And why is the floor my enemy?

Is there such a thing as an online ukulele tablature editor? Bonus if it also shows staff music and/or chord charts, but just being able to view and edit tabs would be useful.

That was the prizewinner, but he got a few good shots.

Kiddo captured some good sunrise on our drive into town.

Good view of their wing markings!

He tries so hard to get her to love him.

His next act was to climb into Wife's lap and do glorious battle with their crochet.

Anyone want a cat? He's a total bastard, but pretty as hell.

Mother. Fucker. *This* is why we need a new coffee maker every year.

My family's spirit friends, made by @moonrabbit

We broke Boomer's plate last night, so she had her supper today on a different one. It was mostly fine, but near the end she suddenly noticed it's the wrong plate (still white & round, but flowers instead of her penguin), and she backed away glaring at it.

She got over it quickly and finished her beef, but as an autistic person I felt a strong sense of affinity with her right there.

Very cool idea!

My public library offers similar birdwatching kits, with a bid book and binoculars and a provincial parks day pass.

We also have museum passes, etc -- it's well worth checking out your local, it's probably got more than books!

Inkcap mushrooms, too, and I've never seen these in person!

Cool mushrooms on our walk today! Alongside the Trans-Canada Trail in Arden, Ontario.

Got off to a good start, but now the damn chainsaw is acting up. And I skinned my knuckles starting it so now there's blood everywhere. Whee!
