Trump some time ago ridiculed Norway as a „shithouse country“.

Well, the Norwegian tourist agency replied with a whole page of absolutely astonishing toilets in Norway :blobcatgiggle: https://www.visitnorway.com/plan-your-trip/travel-tips-a-z/norwegian-scenic-routes/worlds-best-toilets/

Good morning, you fabulous critters (and other folks) :squirrellove:

Good morning, my cutie patooties :squirrellove:

Good morning, you incredible folks :squirrellove:

The weird obsession of US professional culture with former members of the military.

I never saw the fact that someone served at the military in the past mentioned in a professional CV outside of the US.

For me this feels completely irrelevant and rather bad publicity. Unless you apply for a job with a mercenary army :blobcatgiggle:

Since the squirrel became my heraldic animal I was looking for a small one to put on my purse.

Say hi to Pinsel (German for paintbrush, because of the ears :blobcat_coy:).
Pinsel certainly is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns (mainly because I couldn't decide on a binary gender :blobcatjoy:)

I tried to be a man for 55 years. But I got terrible reviews and the show got canceled.

Good morning, my fabulous honey bunnies :squirrellove:

Good morning, my wonderful cutie patooties :squirrellove:

Good morning, my absolutely favorite people and beings :squirrellove:

This also can come with some side effects.

I have a reputation as the destroyer of rules and processes.

I have a mild form of ODD. So if someone tells me "you have to …" my first reaction is "the fuck I have to." Surprise: this leads to better processes.

Also: "I'll never be as cool as XYZ!"

Stop that! This is not an impersonator contest. You will find your own flavor of awesomeness.

I want you to understand this:

You often get told it's never too late.

But rarely that transition later in life has its benefits too. Something you don't get early in life.

Aside from the hardships and trauma and all that stuff, you are a strong person. Hear me? It might not yet feel like it, but trust me. It will come.

You know what you want. You know what you don't want. You give a flying shit about what others think about you. That's a type of freedom not many people get to experience.

And know what? THIS is what makes you attractive to other people. The you nobody ever saw before.

Go out there and shine! You deserve it and others deserve to see you too!

Good morning, my lovely friends and family :squirrellove:

Good morning, my fabulous sugarplums :squirrellove:

… and more cishet :blobcat_coy:

"Drag Brunch" … ich don't know if there's anything more German than this type of event :blobcatgiggle:

I think again about dying my hair.

But I'm a scientist. So I don't just do it. I conduct an experiment!

Currently a hairball is soaking in the color for the recommended amount of time.

Some time in the past I collected the few hairs in my brush. For no other reason than to have a specimen that I can use for dying experiments. That's quite a long time ago, didn't do that after a short phase.

But let's see what comes out of that …

Have a quote to start your day:

"Shame is a ventriloquist. It'll spend years convincing you its voice is yours."
(Melissa Tripp)

I would have been so pissed if they had done that to me.

Not that I have any interest to use this part ever again in my life.
