I attended a corgi Halloween party yesterday. 14 Pembrokes and 2 Cardigans (my Vito and Dory). Corgis are very busy little bees with no particular destination in mind.

I have mopped the floors. Where’s my award?

Birb Update. Scrub-Jay now appears at our door like clockwork, morning and night. He calls and calls until T’Chat comes to the door. He and T’Chat then have lengthy conversations about the state of the world.

Another one bites the dust. This from a rural town just south of Bend, Oregon. https://www.centraloregondaily.com/news/lapine/la-pine-rejects-proposed-data-center/article_0164cd75-d5ae-47f2-885a-a07a392c141b.html

@jeridansky How’s your Dad? I may have missed an update, because I’ve been mostly offline the last 2 days.

And God said, “Let there be Dog.” And Dog was good.

Love the one you’re with.

Is there a way to block photos from my timeline of that racist piece of trash that calls himself our president ?

Thank you @ourhumanfam and @clayrivers for this anthology. Each morning, first thing, I read one chapter. I sit with the lessons during the day to let them sink in. 💜

Friday, January 9 #SC #Measles update from the SC Dept of Health.

“COLUMBIA, S.C. ― The South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH) is reporting 99 new cases of measles in the state since Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases in South Carolina related to the Upstate outbreak to 310. The outbreak remains centered around Spartanburg County, with most cases located there.

There are currently 200 people in quarantine and nine in isolation. The latest end of quarantine for these is January 29.

“The number of those in quarantine does not reflect the number actually exposed,” said Dr. Linda Bell, state epidemiologist and DPH’s incident commander for the measles outbreak. “An increasing number of public exposure sites are being identified with likely hundreds more people exposed who are not aware they should be in quarantine if they are not immune to measles. Previous measles transmission studies have shown that one measles case can result in up to 20 new infections among unvaccinated contacts.”

Hangry? Stabby? Disgusted? Definitely giving me the ‘toenail’ with that right middle digit.

T’Chat says happy #Caturday to all the other adventure kitties out there.

Just had a long one sided conversation with my dogs about how there’s no more treats right now and we’ll go outside later for a walk and to get brushed and they’ll get a treat after that and that they just need to let me finish my breakfast and Mastodon and we’ll have a good time later.

Then I realize I have become absolutely bonkers.

A Clutter of Corgis just for you.

Don’t you just love it when they tuck their little paws under to make themselves neat and tidy?

Tonight I just feel sad. Heading to bed…hoping everyone sleeps well with minimal fireworks disruptions. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

My old Corgi Posse from Central Oregon walked in the Sisters Rodeo Parade last weekend. Enjoy!

I know you need to see my nephew’s new puppy, Rocket. Imagine yourself snuggling with this little butterbean. 🥰
