Carved a pumpkin for the first time in forever

Been busy, but finally got some drawing in. Dinos! Gearyu was a real pain the in the wrist to draw.

It's raining cats and dogs outside, so I drew some cats and dogs.

Southpaw, my beloved <3

In drawing all these creatures, I've noticed a number of them have very jelly-bean shaped bodies.

I guess that makes them good beans.

Anyways, halfway done with tonight's drawings, just got some puppies left to do. :3

Pangolin knights. Palangolin is one of my favorites.

#CassetteBeasts

Moths, and a bonus page. I guess technically they're superhero moths.

Variety pack.

Today I drew Cassette Bleats.

(Edit: Misspelled Capricorpse's name lol)

#CassetteBeasts

Candevil line. I think I developed some cavities while drawing these guys.

#CassetteBeasts

Crabs.

#CassetteBeasts

Snakes.

Starting, naturally, with the Springheel line.

Okay I might as well post this: I'm trying to improve my art skills, starting at literal zero, and my motivational practice has turned into a little project.

I'm working on sketching all of the monsters in Cassette Beasts, using the wiki as a reference. I'll post the few I've done so far, and will continue posting them in the future as I keep sketching!

@pluralistic I'm finishing up Ed Zitron's CES podcast series, and at one point you brought up some functional items you like to use when traveling such as a cable bag and a pair of chopsticks.

As someone who travels frequently for work, I'd be interested to hear more of your travel tips and recommendations. Do you have (or would you consider) a blog post on more stuff like that?

I'm really tired of hearing terms like "digital detox".

We don't need to "detox" from digital. We need to wrest control of digital away from the capitalist oligarchs who have corrupted it into a torment nexus.

Maybe also implement ipv6, but OPNsense comes first.

New year's resolution: Replace my pfSense install with OPNsense.

Please stop trying to use cute brand names for microblog posts. I know everyone is nostalgic for Twitter but I'm sorry "skeet" and "quoot" are stupid fucking words.

1) New car - Current one has a sporadic stalling issue that no one can figure out how to fix.
2) New job - I at least want to start the process of looking.
3) New house - See 2.
4) New skin - become a werewolf.

The Justice Department and several dozen state attorneys general won a sweeping victory against Google Monday as a federal judge ruled that the search giant illegally monopolized the online search and advertising markets over the past decade.

“Google is a monopolist, and it has acted as one to maintain its monopoly,” Judge Mehta wrote.
