#WhiskersWednesday but without the whiskers. Today Brother Spinner wishes to share his beenz with us.

So we're doing another end of year nonsense thing? Gladly!

I'm not doing a per month personal retrospective, mostly because by the end of May my eldest was diagnosed with anorexia and that killed almost all of my 30m daily #MiniPainting time.

I did manage to build a whole #TrenchCrusade table, #Gorkamorka or #SpaceGits stuff, and paint some individual models plus start painting TC models in all oils.

Hopefully the other year will be better for everyone, including for taxing billionaires!

#10CommandmentsOfMiniaturePainting 3/3

8) thou shalt take pictures of wash, paint or glue spills before cleaning them up

9) thou shalt better not drink paint water unless thou knowest the toxicity level is okay

10) thou shalt not make too much of a habit of cleaning thine brush in thine tea, coffee or other beverages

#10CommandmentsOfMiniaturePainting 2/3

4) if thou canst not follow Commandment 3, thou shalt shuttest the fucketh up *and we mean it*

5) thou shalt not offer painting advice or suggestions for improvement unprompted

6) thou shalt not painteth when thou dothst not feeleth like it. Thou hast a job, school, or chores for that

7) thou shalt not compare thine work with that of thine neighbour before thou hast compared thine work to thine past work

Since the original post died with warhammer.social, here are the #10CommandmentsOfMiniaturePainting again 1/3

***The ten commandments of Miniature Painting are***

1) thou shalt always strive to not self-deprecate

2) thou shalt be proud of thine Good Works, for they are truly Good Works

3) thou shalt bestow on the work of others, regardless of skill level, compliments (just find something they did well) or emoji such as heart (any colour), heart-eyes et cetera, or other affirmation

Dear all, I will only be passively present for the most part for the foreseeable future, so I'm pausing my #hobbystreak and can't do #MiniatureHighlights anymore.

The reason being, my eldest has developed an eating disorder and our first priority is, frankly, to keep her alive and healthy.

She's sadly a victim of #Autistic kids having to fit in to a school system that doesn't recognise their needs, overly gentle approaches to bullying and commercialised mental healthcare.

We'll do our best.

Enjoying this video (featuring @pluralistic by surprise) I'm using for an #EFL lessons series on #dungeonsAndDragons #rpg https://youtu.be/ATUpSPj0x-c
