Even if by some small chance that all of the current administration doesn't get blanket pardons and get impeached or jailed, all the problems still exist. The worst thing in the next 2 years will be noise around investigations led by Democrats that don't change anything, systemically. I fear the media and trainwreck, can't-look-away fervor around investigations is gonna miss the entire point of having democratic levers of power.
These systemic, underlying problems need addressing immediately. Everything else in the very long, generations long process of rebuilding a liberal democracy almost from scratch, will come from these three. The dark money, the weakness of checks on political corruption, the regression of women as second class citizens, the ability to fuck with elections/voters by executive order or gerrymandering - fix these things and maybe you've got a chance for some kinda future, America.
Three things immediately (aside from investigations, which will take decades):
1. Start the process to expand the supreme court. Undo citizens united and the Dobbs decision.
2. Pass voting rights legislation and laws to restrengthen bribery/corruption accountability by public officials. (There are probably recent supreme court decisions to undo here too.)
3. Defund ICE/dept of homeland security. Release everyone from the concentration camps. Shut all of the camps down.
A big tree. Reminding you all to take a deep breath.
Nonviolent is the better option. That's obvious.
I'm not hopeful for either to happen. So instead, the rest of the world must accept that the U.S. is a failed state, going forward. There are no deals to be made with them, no allyship. It's over. They must be shamed, sanctioned, and be punished as the pariahs that they have become.

Violent options: armed, organized militia that coordinates quickly to forcibly remove them. Think January 6, without the costumes, and with clear objectives to overthrow this corrupt, criminal administration.
Probably need to have an insider and support of the people who protect the president and his cabinet members. No casualties are needed, but y'all probably should be ready for that outcome and minimize it to the extent possible. /4
Your people need to do a massive general strike across all States, at a scale beyond the No Kings stuff, until they get it done, making this the primary objective - immediate removal of this entire corrupt, genocidal government.
The midterms are too far away and won't save you. /n
The way I see it this morning is this: the U.S. people (including other branches of government) have two options - nonviolent or violent removal of Trump and every cabinet member
Nonviolent options: immediate impeachment & removal; 25th amendment.
Both parties must collaborate on this. /n
This is a good fall cat photo.
