My feed did a thing and I LOLed 🤣🤣🤣 @TheBreadmonkey @juergenlibertus @me

I see Mastodon.social is once again causing trouble with their non-existent moderation and inability (or refusal) to deal with spam bot waves causing a lot of headaches for other instances and admins 🙄🙄

If you're on Mastodon.Social, consider moving away. It's a cancer on Mastodon. Growing uncontrolled and painfully big.

Everyone, wish my granny a wonderful 100th birthday. She turns a whole century old today 🥹🫪🎉

(I'm not gonna tell her about it, because she doesn't understand "The Internet" and it would scare her that many strange people wish her a happy birthday 🤣)

It's fucking August. What the fuck.

Our walk yesterday was beautiful.

#Spring #Green #sunlight

Weeeeeekend 🥳🥳

Tried out #Stoat as a possible replacement for #Discord today. Voice chat quality was miles better. Crystal clear sounds. Hope they implement screen sharing soon, but this is a good start

Edit: running a game at the same time as a voice chat worked perfectly as well. They didn't hate each other unlike Discord that bitches all the time when sharing space with a game lol

Having some awesome drinks for my birthday today 🤓

(Yes, I'm aiming for birthday wishes to replace all the friends who missed it today, so feel free to send birthday wishes to me 😂)

oh and for the people following me for the first time - I boost a lot of stuff like cats, nature, art and general things I am interested in, so if you prefer seeing only my original posts, you might want to mute my boosts.

I also try to be a politics free account that concentrates on the good, pretty and hopeful things our planet and humanity has to offer. We have enough doom and gloom out there.

Guess an #introduction is in order. Not sure I ever did one for my first instance, whoops.

Hi, my name is James an I've moved from an instance that is closing down soon.

I'm absolutely queer :asexual: :progresspride_flag: :_gay: but working a boring office job in Germany, trying to remind ppl at work that personal data needs protection and that genAI came fresh out of pandora's box and does not belong in their daily job.

In my free time I #write fic, #draw digital art and #read a lot of books, mostly #scifi. I play a handful of computer games like #GW2. I watch a lot of tv shows and love Star Trek :trekbadgetng: and Doctor Who.

I love #space, #nature, #cats and #photography (although my photos are just taken with my phone). I post them mostly on my Pixelfed account.

Guess that's it for now. I probably forgot a lot of stuff that people write into introductions, but feel free to ask x)
