sshd should have been an audio mixing daemon.

you know, so you could "mute everything"

I just watched the first episode of Colombo with my husband and one of Colombo's gotchas, one of his "no sane innocent man would ever do this"s, is "Why, when you were at your vacation home four hours out of the city and got a call that there was an emergency at home, why did you drive back and not rush to the airport and get on the next flight? There's one every half hour, everyone know that"

The idea of rocking up to an airport spontaneously and buying a ticket to get on a plane leaving in fifteen minutes, as if it were a local bus, and that the whole process from door to door would be meaningfully faster than four hours, is completely culturally illegible to those of us living in the glorious future

"so are you using intel, nvidia or amd graphics?" "nobody said I couldn't use all of them at once"

A pending update will be installed when restarting the system.

@finn we tried to take down Java. we made a massive tomb to bury the beast in. Java's Crypt, we called it.

We tried to kill a monster by creating a worst one. and the first monster still runs on 8 quintillion devices.

And, you know, surveiling that data back to owners.

So, no, I will keep me secrets.

No thank you.
