On my way to #Anthrocon2026 — I’m riding Amtrak from sweet home Chicago to the city I call home one week in July, Pittsburgh. Really looking forward to seeing you all there, and for those who can’t make it, I’m thinking about you and planning things for between cons!

I know that being tired is a major factor in resilience, and I’m very tired the last few days, but it’s hard to shake the compulsion to sit on social media and fret all day instead of doing something recharging or fulfilling. Not every day should be productive, but fretting feels like a waste.
