Over the last few months I have been setting up my online business presence and I now have a website that I'm reasonably happy with (Wordpress as I got fed up with fighting with raw CSS) so if you know of anyone who needs UK based remote Linux sysadmin support, or help with setting up web, email, chat or fediverse servers, feel free to point them at https://moortech.uk to get in touch. Thanks! #jobs #getfedihired  #fedihireuk

I've set up an account for my music stuff courtesy of @luca@sonomu.club. I probably will crosspost a bit as always, but feel free to follow @bedlamsteps for sound related mutterings and meanderings. Thanking you.

PSA: if you follow me and you haven't got any public posts, I'm not following back. An introduction takes five minutes to write, or put something in your profile. Ta.

As I messed up my instance while trying to migrate it, here's yet another introduction.
I'm Simon, one of those greybeards they tell you about. Husband, Dad, musician, career internet wrangler living in West Yorkshire in the UK. I keep my daughter in tomato ketchup by fixing people's systems, primarily Linux and open source (surprise surprise). For fun, I make music with a small pile of synths I've accrued, and last year I started letting people hear it more, including having tracks on the last Bonkwave compilation. When I'm not doing all that, I sort of dabble in stuff. Cooking - my wife and I are trying veganism with about 95% success, walking in our area - it's handy living on the edge of a moor, and taking photos but not really that seriously. Dw in'd dysgu Cymraeg, ond maen'n rhaid i mi wneud mwy na Duolingo. #introduction #linux #music #synths #bonkwave #vegan #cooking #walking #dysgucymraeg
