@tink absolutely an interesting topic. there was an interesting post of an actual blind person here a few days ago (maybe someone has bookmarked it and can reference it). she talked about using a public toilet. and how the meta glasses “read the room”. her conclusion was that devices build especially for the visually impaired do it quite differently and that the meta way is not usable.
I read some post about how Mastodon consists primarily of German-speaking creatures talking in English. I'm gonna do a poll, need to test that. Boosts highy appreciated!

The SVG Working Group is actively trying to remove the paper cuts and have something which is interoperable. There are many parts of the spec which are not fully tested in WPT. One step at a time, we are improving it.
If you see implementation bugs, issues with the spec, missing tests, do not hesitate to report them. It will help a lot.
