There is other coverage that goes into more detail and offers more context than my Masto post:

I encountered this logging into my AutoDesk account this morning. In addition to 3 pages of this stuff, I had to use a password and was sent a code to my email address.
This explains why the product shots looked so weird on the models — plaids with perfect lines, weird folds, and odd artifacting when zoomed. The cardboard cut-out model was just the uncanny bonus.
Ok, tab closed.
(I cropped the photo to show the message buried in the bottom left.)
I know nothing of what’s going on with Mullenweg, other than he’s 7.2 lead.
But seeing this message to Andrea Fercia, who’s contributed so much to WordPress accessibility (including keeping Gutenberg from being an even bigger Mullenmess), does not feel right.
Trump’s new press secretary, who has repeatedly asserted she is an attorney, seemingly isn’t. Not in California, not in China.

It’s a continued requirement that you have to be unethical to work in this administration.

While I am glad I run no Google code on my site and only open Chrome for testing (and then close it again, but maybe should uninstall each time), I am such a minority as to be less than a rounding error.
It’s truly impossible to avoid Google’s porny tentacles.
I’m overdue in asking you not to rely on VoiceOver behavior as being reflective of VoiceOver behavior.

Because table sorting this time.

“deprecate the Assisted-by
tag”
Assuming this is to make it harder to identify any copyright-infringing code should this house of cards finally fall down (weird way to protect your project, but whatever).
Anyway, nice to see Linux finally catching up to Windows (probably macOS too).

I suppose it’s good the dude deleted the post Baldur linked, which is also not in any of the online archive sites (his robots.text disallows archiving).
Good because that author clearly didn’t believe it enough and now others aren’t getting what was probably a crap argument of confirmation bias.
maybe copilot could help you add some sensible alt text to images in your email...
over the next two weeks, watch for the sunset Torontohenge (see ALT text for why)
there are four Torontohenges each year --
Feb 15 (+) sunset
Apr 19 (+) sunrise
Aug 23 (–) sunrise
Oct 25 (–) sunset
(+) good pics for a week or so after

Something cool I finished last week, Accessibility Compat Data’s website: https://acd.lolaslab.co
You can get an overview of the project, learn how to contribute, have a look at our funding proposal, & stay updated on what we’re building. ✨
Sarah (@codingchaos) is looking for feedback on interactive lists:
https://sarahmhigley.com/writing/interactive-lists/
She explains the use cases, existing patterns, limitations, and existing work. Wants feedback on Bluesky (linked in post) or the ARIA issue.
Using Tim Cook, the guy who gave a 24K gold gift to Trump, is not a compelling argument. Even Billionaire boot-lickers can sometimes post fun stuff.
Sorry, this 1999-era site isn’t making its 1999-era case well enough to go back to Mecha-Hitler’s CSAM-generating hate platform.
It's taken a little while, but all the videos from Inclusive Design 24 #id24 have now been manually recaptioned.

100 options from which to choose.
If you work in or adjacent to digital accessibility, now might be a good way to contribute.

Fuck you, Breville.
I just want to get notified when your out-of-stock product *that you make me use* is back in stock.
I don’t want to also sign up for spam from you and your ‘partners’.
Using your failure to stock your own products as a marketing channel is shitty and you should feel bad.
