The discussion about FOSS community here reminded me of that Reddit used to be FOSS.
To be fair, Neocities is still FOSS and I don't agree with their management: they blocked CORS (by adding HTTP headers that disable this feature, thus breaking a lot of projects) claiming "security issues", despite every other single web host never doing the same.
Grebedoc does the opposite: it allows users to set their own HTTP headers! Do you want to host a Godot 4 game that requires Cross-Origin-Opener-Policy? You can do that with Grebedoc, but not with GitHub Pages nor Neocities (not even paying them).
With this in mind, Neocities looks like "just a static web host for people with Geocities nostalgia" and not a FOSS project to take seriously.
