@grammargirl I don't think you've covered this yet, so I keep asking: 😀 email or emails? I don't say "I opened the mails," because I don't consider "mail" countable. So I similarly wouldn't say "I read all my emails." Yet it gets used this way all the time. Curious how this digital version of language we already use in the analog world came to have different usage.

Today's project: replace these ceiling can lights, which are all on the same circuit, with Hue bulbs to create three zones: tv wall, room, and closet. Yes—even the closet is on the same circuit. (Don't ask.) #smarthome

Happy (late) Sunday morning, Fedis. Completed a few small projects yesterday, so I’m feeling fairly accomplished so far this weekend. Printed my first vase-style lamp globe just to get a feel for how that works—looking to retrofit some cheep ceiling “disc” lights by replacing the removable diffuser with some sort of globe. First step was recreating the diffuser with its attachment clips, which I did yesterday. Now I need to figure out how to combine that as an attachment to a globe. #3dprinting

I'm conflicted on the latest Strange New Worlds. Introducing a Q-kid seems unnecessarily contrived, yet it gives a believable, heartfelt premise for breaking apart Chapel and Spock. I did get a kick out of Korby and Spock working together to solve the problem, and their similar physical appearance seems intentional to the story line (i.e., Chapel has a "type"). Also: yea for Spock regrowing hair, and where has Cillian O'Sullivan been my whole life? #startrek
