The bellymaw on this critter is selectively permeable (because, what would be the point of a maw you couldn't put anything in?) which does lead to the fun advantage of "weird ways to inflate the pooltoy" (when it wants to be inflated) ((which *is* very often but bears saying))

@Jenetrix I actually came up with a metaphor for the "big tent" strategy yesterday that I thought was really good.

"If you want your Big Tent to include the rain, the snow, the sky, and the four seasons, you have severely misunderstood the purpose of a tent."

Wanted to design a critter that combined "has a bellymaw" with "is an inflatable" since those two things feel kind of at odds with one-another. It ended up being a bug of some kind for some reason. Honestly, I think it came out alright anyway.
