#linux long shot
I'm running Pop OS so Ubuntu.
I installed COSMOS, then GNOME.
I was able to easily switch to GNOME once it was installed.
But, since that switch, I haven't seen the gear to the lower right on the login tile to select desktop environment.
Then I installed Cinnamon. Still no gear.
Is there a configuration file I should check or something?
I've not had luck searching the web for "ubuntu desktop environment selection thing not visible"

Did you learn anything from buying your electric car?
We plan to buy a cheap Leaf or something similar soon.

Are you of Iranian descent and working in the US? How is your employer addressing the US-Israel attack on Iran?

Do you have an employee of Iranian descent? How are you supporting them?

Self reminders (pinned):
- Help promote good news. Bad news travels well enough on its own.
- Get good local news and #union news out there!
- "Favorite" means "I read this". It means something between me and the poster.
- "Boost" means "I want others to see this."
- Don't bother boosting or favoriting large account posts.
- Quote posts work. Use for good not for evil.
- hashtags don't do much. Set expectations accordingly.

I will not be checking here as much for a while.
I have enjoyed interacting here more than I ever expected. But some life stuff required me to choose what I can cut to make some room in my time and energy.
Hang in there. Whatever it is your doing, you're doing a great job.
