@dragon time to rewrite waking up in rust

They should invent an open source alternative to waking up

You know, Canada kinda is a dam nation what with the beavers and hydroelectric

Damnation

My kingdom for good mobile text editing

@dragon i would go to hell and take latex with me

what if you wanted to go to heaven but LaTeX said

Overfull \hbox (10.95003pt too wide) in paragraph at lines 38--38

it is literally so fucking shrimple

bugplay. put that guy in a uh cup i guess

adopting american spelling on modernist grounds

I haven't written a line of code in years and I don't miss it

wait... this makes it sound like I'm using AI lol, no I simply don't program at all anymore

I know latex and I know python so basically I think it would be easy for me to get a physics degree

My top 5 favorite writing workshop texts have been:

• "queer romance" that made me skip the workshop because I couldn't think of anything positive to say about it
• parody work that was supposed to be completely serious
• transphobic short story for which I was supposed to start the conversation on tdor of all days (hope you got your e babe)
• extremely egg-misogynist personal essay in which the author recounts dressing identically to another woman to highlight how differently they were treated (hope you got your e babe)
• manifesto about how we should all be posting non-stop to defeat the surveillance state signed with several reddit usernames, one of which regularly posted splatooon porn

Writing workshops are awesome dude.

Honorable mention to the one time someone submitted a play and missed some character names in the final edit revealing that it originally featured kpop boys; the ppl reading were real champs about it

I don't think I'll ever let go of the time I told someone her parody work had really strong foundations and she looked me dead in the eye and told me it was completely serious.

Overall: I think you could rephrase how the beginning section is presented but I think this is solid

@dragon the war turned us all into monsters but some of us were cunty about it

I think if I'm gonna aggregate the numbers to do anything with them I'll have to make it logarithmically scale or something, because there's very little difference between saying the movie was 10000000 good and 1000000000000 good

You can rate anything at all. I'd want it to plug into like film and tv and music and book databases and whatnot. And you can make lists of anything and travel the web like gnod. Oh you liked the barbie movie 10000? Here's what people who liked it a similar amount to you also liked a very high amount. Here are some people with similar taste. Critique anything and people can also rate your critique with any number. Just fully give into the meaninglessness of a star rating system

What if I made this website. What if I made a website where you can give any film any number at all and it was like letterboxd except silly and for fun

I think film rating sites shouldn't give you a maximum number. Enter any real and that's how much you love the movie and we tally it all up
