Just restarted the big server. I do not like doing this one bit. Horrible things happen if it doesn't come back up.

This is why reviews are not everything, as helpful as they can be at times.
thanks to ai, saying you're "dating a model" is a lot less likely to impress anyone nowadays

Your check engine light often has two moods, and they mean very different things.
Solid: Get it checked soon, but will still drive without serious harm.
Flashing: Pull over immediately. It usually means a misfire, which dumps raw fuel into your catalytic converter and cooks it from the inside.
The great thing about SSO is that instead of signing into 15 systems once a day, I can sign into one system 25 times a day.

The SpaceX announcement was interesting. It will be good to have another serious mobile carrier option. The big three have had too much control for too long. Time for some new players.
One of our SaaS providers sent out a marketing email to all of their customers about new AI features. I replied saying that we used them as a secure solution and integrating things that add no value for our use case but add significant attack surface undermines our trust in their product and will cause us to consider alternatives.
It turns out that the reply-to header was the CEO’s email address and I initially got an out-of-office auto responder then a worried reply saying that of course the AI nonsense that they’d been talking about would be opt in and would not be given access to anything without explicit consent.
But now their CEO has one data point that jumping on the bandwagon will lose sales.
I’d recommend doing the same for any such marketing emails you get. The replies may go to /dev/null, but normally they have a ‘contact sales’ link. The more replies they get saying that incorporating ‘AI’ features undermines your trust in their product and makes you less likely to buy even the non-‘AI’ versions, the more they’ll consider these things high risk to ship.
I bought a little bag of air today...
The company that made it was kind enough to put some potato chips in it as well.
Apple has announced a special event for Tuesday, October 13, under the tagline “Welcome home.” New Home products are expected, including a new Apple TV 4K, HomePad and HomePod mini 2.
People are so weird!
I was able to get Codex to grab all the pCM data out of AT&T Mike, it presented me with some 2080 files, over 5 hours. This is what he sounds like raw.
I'm finally ready to publicly announce Tallfree, a custom firmware for the Roland SP-404MKII which allows blind people to fully use the device with speech. 2 weeks later, lots of testing, and a hell of a lot of card swaps, it's good enough to reliably use to make music! At this point it's the centerpiece of my studio and honestly I couldn't be happier with it.
Attached is an audio recording of me playing with the device, showing off some beats I made on it, and just rambling about it for a while. You can listen to it if you're curious about how Tallfree works but don't have the machine / don't want to run it your self for whatever reason.
I would very much appreciate boosts, I'm curious what people think!

Edit: OK 3 edits later and it finally worked! Media is now properly uploaded.

Send actual symbol to synthesiser: Never.
Yes. Quite literally as well. Hopefully that's the last time I'll hear Eloquence muttering "symbol symbol symbol symbol symbol symbol symbol..." at me in CLI sessions. Hahaha.
