Wait, there is a hashtag #stairsunday? Because I got stairs!

#SilentSunday

Instead of staying home like a responsible cat parent, I went out and did stuff all day. So for this #caturday you don’t get a picture of one or both of my cats, but instead pictures of cats I took at the Franz Marc exhibition (https://www.kunstsammlung.de/en/exhibitions/franz-marc-en-2026 ) I visited.

#art

It has been a while since I posted a #caturday picture. I’ll try to start again slowly, with Lilu not doing much of anything.

#catsofmastodon

Ok, I‘m calling it. This is definitely the very best puffin picture I have ever taken, so far.

#puffins

Sorry, forgot about #caturday yesterday due to a slight cycling mishap (I‘m fine, and most of the skin will grow back in time).

So, today you get a belated but very self-satisfied Lilu.

#catsofmastodon

If you follow me, you know Lilu by now.

Lilu is one of the friendliest, cuddliest, dorkiest cats I have ever known. She is not among the smartest.

Last night Lilu spent more than an hour walking through the flat making licking and spitting noises. I grew quite concerned, but she still ate happily, and when it was bedtime she had stopped.

This morning I saw that SOMEBODY had been chewing on my chili plants.

#catsofmastodon #caturday

Damn, nearly forgot about #caturday. Close, but I got a few minutes.

So all you get is a quick Lilu from the camera roll.

#catsofmastodon

If you come a bit closer, Lilu will boop you on the nose. Or pat your head and lick your nose. The latter is more likely, tbh.

#caturday #catsofmastodon

Lilu is particularly excited about this weeks #caturday and would love to talk about it. Tomorrow. Maybe?

I may have already found the best thing I‘ll read this year. More people should see this. And by „more“ I mean „everybody“. Long, but very much worth it.

It’s been a while since I posted a #caturday picture, but this one of Lilu holding on to her dreams seemed to good not to…

Update: Es waren laut Presse etwa 1000 Menschen. Schwer, die alle ins Bild zu kriegen…
