On Saturday, the highest ever temperature in Germany was measured: 41.5C
On Sunday, the highest ever temperature in Germany was measured: 41.7C.

There used to be years between these records (the last one was 41.2C on July 25th 2019), but I guess we will have to get used to these temperatures now.
As someone said here the other day: This is probably the coolest summer of the next 100 years.

Many, many years ago, a very good friend taught me (among very many other things) that it is a very tiny thing for me to tell people when they have done well, but that it is not a tiny thing at all for them to be told they have done well.

Why do we find it so easy to tell people when they do bad things, but so hard to tell people when they do well? Overcome that! Make someone's day! The world will be a better place for it.
