Ist ein Name ein Wort?

But now, for NO reason, the #EuroStack lives in the rectum of Altman. This is a bad joke. I'm pissed as hell.

There was ZERO need to do this. There are plenty of people who love their craft and would gladly continue to code. We were never the bottleneck.

The world obviously didn't need the plagiarism machine to write all the code in the first place, of which this "LLM" stuff is a derivative.

Moreover, it's irresponsible to make "agents" a part of the development process. This is infrastructure people rely on!

The whole "digital transformation" is a rather questionable project.

There, I said it.

In a democracy, we are allowed to say "no" to a technology.

Insisting a technology or the way we are made to use it is above debate is not democratic.

supposed to be an alternative but not acting like one by living in altman's rectum

nextcloud has embraced the slop (AGENTS.md in many repos)

I can't come up with a perfect explanation, but also can't say it doesn't fit

#GnarlyWord

Introduced the rubric #gnarlyWord. Not quite #funnyWord. Words that feel agreeably gnarly when one* says or thinks them.

* me

gnarly

#gnarlyWord

(the first #gnarlyWord has to be "gnarly", of course. "short" is short, "fabulous" is fabulous and "gnarly" is gnarly.)

I've got an issue on the #FP4 somewhere in the audio stack: when there's a silence in a podcast etc.,the first half second or so after the silence is split off so I often miss the first word in a sentence.

It's especially unhelpful when trying to listen to a language learning course.

Any idea, #lazyweb, what I could do to debug (or better directly fix) this?

maybe I should simply let my dvorak typos stand
