Fuckers. ICE injured a developmentally delayed CA high school student before detaining him. Masked agents released him after injuring his wrists so severely that he required surgery.
The young man is an American citizen.

Get in and get cozy everyone, it's time for #DesertBus For Hope 2026 🚍🌵

Can't believe I've been watching these @desertbus goofballs for 20 years now!

ROFL… literally after tooting this, I start listening to the verge podcast, and they say the same thing.

This video of dial-up modem sounds MUST be watched with subtitles. MUST. Thank me later :)

So what if it was called ‘iPad Duo’?

Damaged, but happy.

I ran the Baystate Marathon last Sunday, but I just signed up to run the 27th Annual Flutie 5K for Autism this Sunday.

I will be running with my friend's 13 year old son on one of his first road races. Please consider donating.

There’s something telling that the new VisionQuest show has no Black people in it*

That all these ‘AI’ embodiments are annoying white dudes does however check out.

* I’ve only watched the first episode, but I looked at the cast list of the first 5, and there are like 3 Black people, with the majority being seemingly incidental (reporter (recurring!), police officer).

Ok, so I won’t go out in public like this, but I found out I can put one pair of my sunglasses over my prescription glasses so the sun doesn’t murder me.

But yeah, I would like my eyes to stabilise so I can get prescription sunglasses ASAP.

Based on my first half day, I think I may change my strategy yet again for additional frames.

Due to the intense clarity across the whole lens, I don’t think I would need a pair that have a driving-specific tech.

I WILL need a sun specific pair. Photochromic tech doesn’t work with modern cars (UV blocking), and those must be polarised. I can also go HAM on ‘fun’ with them. I’m thinking something deep plumb tint with either a sapphire or ruby flash

Trump regime's ICE thugs killed two people in Minnesota and is stonewalling the state's investigators who want vital information about what the ICE "officers" behaved. https://apnews.com/article/renee-good-alex-pretti-evidence-immigration-d18378b40675bb107f9c2d519c2b9853

RIP to the closed caption workforce, tossed aside by AI generated slop that can’t discern jargon, accents, idiom, slang and all the things that actual humans can understand and transcribe. I feel sorry for deaf people who use streaming services that use that garbage.

oh, so other terrible problem. In my 'find frames' journey, I considered Lindberg, but because they're mostly totally custom, I decided against it for now, as it's too many ratholes at once.

But in the try-on/adjustment appointment with my Masunaga frames, I looked closely at the Lindberg offerings, and they're absolutely stunning in person. Many would clearly be too light (2-3g!), but the wood and horn frames are impossibly beautiful…

Maybe for an alternate pair.

Heavy is the clown

Oh, you thought we were done with security shit?

This is now the official Presidential portrait for Donald J. Trump. Sorry, I don’t make the rules.
