I saw an image posted by an anarchist art account. It was illustrating the Overton window shifting to the right in several steps. The caption was something like "what voting for the lesser of two evils gets you".
What incredible bullshit that is wrecking our world!
This flawed thinking is a major contributor to the current situation.
No, that wasn't caused by the lesser of two evils. That was caused by people not voting or voting for a third party (in the USA there are no viable third parties and third parties have absolutely zero influence). It was the progressive left ceding the party to the centrists or right wing when they started organizing and backing third parties. Personal purity tests are self-defeating. Solidarity wins.
Vote! Vote for the best blue candidate available!
Volunteer and become part of the organization. Work your way up and become a positive influence from within. That is how we drag things back to the left.
